Our Name:
隨安 - Flow Tea
隨安 (Sui An) means "go with the flow" or "embrace the moment," which is why our name is Flow Tea. We chose this name to encourage everyone to pause and relax for a brief moment in their busy lives and enjoy a good cup of tea. More than that, we aim to create an oasis where people can savor quality tea and experience the ease and joy of life.
Our Team:
Hello there, my name is Teresa. Growing up, tea was a central part of my life. In the evenings, my family would gather around the tea table after dinner, sharing tea and talking about our day. It was a comforting daily ritual that allowed us to unwind and connect with family and friends.
After immigrating to the U.S. and living independently since college, I explored other drinks like boba and coffee, which I still enjoy. Yet, my travels in China reminded me of the deep connections we create through tea. I visited countless tea houses and was captivated by the atmosphere they created—a space to slow down, meet new people, and explore teas that went beyond traditional Gongfu style. These experiences brought back childhood memories, reinforcing how tea connects us in profound ways.
Inspired by these moments, I want to recreate that experience for others—a space where people can savor high-quality tea, learn about its rich varieties and both traditional and modern brewing techniques, and connect meaningfully with others over a cup of seriously good tea
